For the past 35 years, Bill Gillette has marketed and provided technical sales support for roofing and waterproofing systems in various US markets. Most recently, Mr. Gillette relocated to the San Francisco Bay area in 2011 and eventually founded Building Envelope Technology Associates, LLC in 2015 as an independent manufacturer’s representative company for several major firms, including Sika Corporation Roofing & Waterproofing Systems. Currently BET Associates represents manufacturers in California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, & New Mexico. Mr. Gillette is a charter member of the Northern California Chapter of IIBEC and has served on its Board of Directors since its founding.
Max Calehuff is a Territory Manager at GAF, where he specializes in providing high-performance roofing solutions and technical support to clients throughout the region. With over 8 years of experience as a manufacturer’s representative in the roofing industry, Max is dedicated to supporting the architectural and contracting communities through industry expertise and exceptional service. He currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Norcal IIBEC Chapter and is on the education committee.
David Markman P.E. (CA) is a Senior Building Science Consultant with Morrison Hershfield’s San Francisco Bay Area office. He has enjoyed providing building science consulting on buildings ranging from single-family homes to iconic museums in his twelve-year career. David’s focus is working with clients, including Architects, Contractors, and Owners, to understand each project’s unique circumstances and design appropriate solutions.
Kath Quach, AIA, is an enclosure consultant with a background in forensic architecture. She has performed façade surveys, assessments, and other enclosure consulting work related to waterproofing and roofing. She has also participated in a large variety of building types and projects, including historic buildings, waterproofing and roofing basis of design narratives, construction documents, and peer reviews. She is a licensed architect in California.
Rob Worthing, RRC, CDT has more than 20 years of experience in the building enclosure and construction industry. He began his career as a Building Enclosure Consultant, specializing in roofing and waterproofing for 21 years before transitioning in 2021 to the product representation side of the industry. In 2023, he founded RW Material Representatives, LLC to represent premier building enclosure products with a focus on professionalism and ethics.
Rob is a charter member of the Northern California Chapter of IIBEC and has served on its Board of Directors since its founding, while also contributing at the national level on the IIBEC Industry Liaison Committee. He is an active member of the Western States Roofing Contractors Association, serving on the Associate Advisory Council and participating in multiple technical committees
Amos Chan is a Project Manager in Walter P Moore’s Diagnostics Group, specializing in technical consulting for building enclosure systems including below-grade waterproofing, plaza waterproofing, air/water barriers, and roofing systems.
He is experienced with waterproofing and roofing design for new construction, waterproofing remediation, as well as water infiltration diagnostic evaluations and condition assessments for existing buildings.
Amos is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds Building Enclosure Commissioning certifications.
Jerome Jeffers has over 45 years of experience in design services for the building industry. His building enclosure experience encompasses various project types, including educational, institutional, commercial, hospitality, and residential. Jerome is a recognized expert in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall consulting.
Mr. Jeffers provides solutions to building weatherization issues and deterioration to building structures. Mr. Jeffers has earned the Registered Building Envelope Consultant registrations from IIBEC, the most prestigious certification for the roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope consultant practice.

Over the last couple of decades, Aaron has held various roles and worked in a variety of capacities in the industry – mostly in manufacturing. Along the way he has attained multiple industry credentials, led teams, trained legions and has had the privilege of working with, and getting to know, some of the most respected professionals in the building enclosure consulting community.
Along the way, Aaron has had the good fortune of traveling to all fifty states, visited five continents, and has been stranded on a tropical island in the South Pacific (possibly inhabited by cannibals) – not to mention countless other adventures both near and far.
At BEAM Professionals, he leads the building enclosure consulting team for Northern California.
Jonathan Stafford is a Senior Project Manager in the Building Technology Division of Simpson Gumpertz & Heger. Jonathan has 20 years of experience investigating and designing major commercial, institutional, and residential buildings for waterproofing issues, including roofs, plaza decks, and below-grade spaces. He consults with architects, contractors, and building owners in the design of the building envelope for new products and to analyze and repair water intrusion problems and construction defects for existing structures.
Jonathan is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and is an IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant.
Allen is a skilled professional with over 35 years of experience in the roofing and construction industries, with the last two decades dedicated to roofing. Allen is experienced with a broad range of roofing projects, from overseeing residential re-roofs on family-owned properties to managing multi-million dollar roof replacement projects.
Joseph Buccini specializes in design consulting, assessment, and repair of exterior envelope systems as well as the restoration, repair, and renovation of historic structures. His experience ranges from peer review services to full building enclosure design for exterior envelope systems and from creation of feasibility studies to complete survey and repair documents for historic preservation projects.
Since joining WJE, Mr. Buccini has participated in a variety of projects, including architectural field investigations, water intrusion investigations, demolition and construction documents for roofing and waterproofing repairs, glass failure investigations and reports, energy modeling for new high- and mid-rise construction, and drawings and specifications at all phases of project development.
Andre is an Architect and Building Enclosure Consultant with Cornerstone Architectural Group PS. He also holds IIBEC’s Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) and Registered Roof Observer (RRO) designations.
