5th Annual NorCal IIBEC Golf Tournament
The Northern California Chapter of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants held its 5th Annual Golf Tournament on August 19th, 2022. The event was held at the challenging Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA.
Nestled between two 90+ degree days, the event enjoyed great 84-degree weather with a light breeze that made the warmth more comfortable. We had a great turnout with 100 golfers and 16 tee box sponsors.
Platinum Sponsor:
Beacon Waterproofing was the event’s Platinum Sponsor for the second consecutive year. NorCal IIBEC relies heavily on the generosity of the event’s sponsors, and Beacon Waterproofing was essential to the success of this year’s tournament.
The Platinum Sponsor also contributes eight golfers for the tournament field. Golfers are the spirit and character of the event, and it’s the interactions and fellowship with fellow golfers that help make the day so enjoyable.

One thing that makes our tournament unique is the quality and engagement of our tee box sponsors. The tee box sponsors work hard all day, sharing snacks, drinks, and technical knowledge about their products and services.

This year’s Best Tee Box winner was S&K Marketing Group. The golfers voted on the award based on the quality of their experience at the tee box.

Proceeds from our golf event sustain the organization throughout the year, including subsidizing our technical education dinners and social/appreciation events.
NorCal IIBEC also uses proceeds from the golf tournaments for philanthropic efforts that have in the past included food banks, scholarships for students in building design and construction-related fields of study, and student attendance at both local and national IIBEC events.
